Saturday April 21st

I am back in Kansas...with the warning of tornados last night..yikes!! Normally I wouldn't really pay that much attention but this is the land where Dorothy got swept away. Luckily they were all Northwest of here so I am still safe. This weekend I went to Stone Mountain on Saturday morning and took pictures of two adorable little girls. They were 4 years old and 6 months and when I got there Brinn (the 4 yr old) told me that she was here for her picture appointment. As soon as her mother got her little hair clip in her hair she made the cutest pose and said "take my picture please" Here is a copy of the picture that I captured...I think that she might be in the middle of saying please :-)
Here are two more of my favorites from the day.

I also dragged a coworker with me and ventured out to the dirt roads of Kansas last week and got some pictures of the windmills and pretty sunsets and once I get done editing the photos from my shoot on Saturday I will edit those and get them posted.

Welcome!

I decided that I would start a blog for my atlanta photography business. I think that taking excellent pictures is an important aspect of being a photographer, but I also believe that people should hire a photographer who they are comfortable with and whose personality they like. I thought that a blog would be a good way to express my personality and let current clients or potential new ones keep up with me and get to know my personality to see if it matches their own. I finally got my website up and running and I am excited about how it looks. And, I have two very exciting trips coming up....yellowstone with all the surrounding areas and Australia. I can't wait to get out the ol' photography equipment and get some shots in those locations!! I travel a lot for work and right now I am in Kansas but when I get back on the weekends have some shoots of children coming up and they are always so cute that I can't wait!!

Please come back and visit as I write more about my adventures in photography.
