Baby Contest Winners

In other news, I have been extremely busy signing up first year program clients! I love to watch all the little ones grow. I am also in the process of completely redoing my website to look a little more fun. There will be a lot more information for everyone on there as well.

My New Plan

Hello! I know that I haven't posted any of the pictures that I promised, but I have been busy, busy, busy with editing the pictures from my recent sessions. I had 5 this past weekend, which is quite a lot. They were all children 4 years old and younger and after the weekend I have decided that I would like to focus more on babies and children. I really enjoy everything that comes with them. I love the props I can use, I love their little personalities and I even love doing all the funny things to try to get them to smile and laugh. I have especially enjoyed my First Year Program (I need a catchier name) because now that I seen some of those babies 2 and 3 times, they just get cuter with each session and they start to really develop their personalities.

I am still working on the baby contest. So far I have about 6 entrants with more people telling me that they were going to enter. Hopefully I will get a few more in there. I can't wait until that weekend. A whole weekend with babies to take pictures of!! I promise to get some recent pictures up soon! At least I am doing better on the writing part!

Cutest Baby Contest

Hello all,

I am trying to do really well in keeping up with my vow to write more so here I am again. I have been busy, busy, busy with little ones! In March I am going to have a Cutest Baby Contest. Details can be found at www.melissaannephotography.com\babycontest I am very excited about meeting all the new cuties and seeing some of my regulars between their normal sessions. This weekend I worked on a couple of Valentine's Day shoots and also did a cake smash with my sister's best friend's son (boy is that a mouthful). He was so cute but wasn't too intent on sitting still for any before pictures. Once we brough out the cupcake though he warmed up and then dove in. I am going to post some pictures from all the sessions soon! Be sure to check back. I will also post the pictures from the Cutest Baby Contest when that comes around so stay tuned!!

Too Long!!

It has been way too long since I have written. I think that I said that last time too, so sorry again. Things have been great and really busy! I was in Australia in August followed by a busy fall that has carried right over into the new year. I have several people signed up for my first year program now and it is quickly becoming my favorite program. I love to see the little ones grow up! Here are a couple from my most recent sessions:

Babies Galore

Hello, and sorry I have been gone so long lately. Things have been really busy for me and I definitely have not posted as much as I should. One of my really good friends got married a week and a half ago and I was in the wedding which was so much fun!! That same weekend I took some pictures of two of the most adorable babies ever. I will post some of my favorites here.



Hard to believe that the little guy on his stomach is only 4 months old huh. He posed so well and had the most beautiful eyes! The other little guy makes some of the cutest faces you have ever seen and his mother loves to get shots of him that are faces that he makes all the time but she is not able to capture.

I am still working on my pictures from my trip with Craig to Yellowstsone. I started working on them a few weeks ago, but then I had a ton of pictures to edit for clients so the Yellowstone pictures have had to wait. I think that this weekend I will start to work on them again.

I have a client coming for their first shoot on Sunday of their first year program and I can't wait. I love to do this type of shoots because then I get to see the baby grow up right before my eyes!

In other news, I have started a MySpace page. It is not public yet because I am still working on it but I can't believe that I have finally joined the MySpace world :-)

Sorry that I have been a little MIA lately. I actually went on vacation to Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, and the Badlands for 10 days. I wasn't quite sure what to expect because I had never been out there, but it was absolutely gorgeous. I was expecting lots of sand and rocks, but instead I was greeted with green rolling hills that reminded me of the English countryside. I am going to write a lot more but here are a couple of pictures of me on the trip.

Hello everyone. This past weekend I took a studio photography class and it was a blast. I learned a lot and learned that I would definitely like to get into shooting studio shots. I also learned that when you take photography classes you get the styles of the teachers. My teacher was awesome but he definitely has a different style then I do! I also had a shoot each day after my class where I shot a coworker at Piedmont Park on Saturday and her dog. Then I shot a friend of mine's nieces on Sunday at the Roswell Area Park. I had never been there before but they had a lot of great locations for photos. I really liked the park and will definitely be back. I have attached some photos below. They were a few of my favorites :-)
This weekend I am doing one my friend's baby. He is 6 months old and so cute so you can have those pictures to look forward to next week. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
